What “4-Wire Ceiling Fan” Means?
A ceiling fan with 4 wires allows separate control of:
– Fan motor
– Light
So you can use two wall switches (one for fan, one for light).

If You Have Only ONE Wall Switch
Connect fan Hot + fan blue together
Connect them to house red
Fan and light turn on together
Important Safety Notes
– Turn power OFF at the breaker
– Use wire nuts properly
– Secure fan to a fan-rated box
Common Problems
– Fan works but light doesn’t → red wire not connected
– Light works but fan doesn’t → black wire not connected
– Nothing works → neutral (white) issue
