I’ve always been the kind of person to fix things myself, opening power tools to see what’s wrong with them, unscrewing parts, poking around trying to figure out what is the issue.
I always had this mentality of “I can fix this myself” without taking the help of anyone, but one day when my Tineco vacuum mop started giving me “clean water tank empty” errors I knew something was wrong with my Tineco clean water tank.

In no time my screw driver kit was out, and ready to take a deeper look at things but little did I know, I was making the biggest mistake of my life by opening the water tank of the Tineco vacuum mop.
Take Apart Tineco Clean Water Tank: Should You Do It?
Not everything is meant to be opened and here is what I mean by that.
Why You Should Never Open the Clean Water Tank of Tineco Vacuum Mop?
The clean water tank of the Tineco vacuum mop looks like just another container, just open the screws, pop the cover and clean it before putting it back together, but here is where everyone is wrong, and I was too.
The clean water tank of the Tineco vacuum mop is factory sealed and is not meant to be opened by the user whatsoever.

It’s not like the company is saving money, but to keep the water inside the tank free from leaks the company has shut it and sealed it properly so that the user never faces any problems.
Once you remove the screws from the valve, two major problems happen:
1. You won’t be able to screw it back: The waterproof threading of the Tineco water tank is sealed from the factory and if once taken out cannot be put back in place.
2. The water output valve won’t reattach: The screw holds the output water valve which ensures the water enters the vacuum properly only when it is attached to the mop.
Once removed, the valve will fall back into the water tank and will not reattach again.
So even if you think the clean water tank is the problem, it might not be and if you are curious to open it, just know it will leave the water tank useless.
The only best option to fix this issue is to replace the clean water tank with a brand new Tineco vacuum mop water tank which you can find in your local hardware store or on an online store.
