What’s the big deal if your Tineco vacuum mop tube hose breaks? Well, for starters, your vacuum mop loses the capacity to suck up dust and other dirt particles, and you can notice this as the dirty water tank hardly fills up.

This also means you’ll not know exactly how much clean water is remaining at any given time. Your vacuum mop is also likely to become noisier than normal, and if you don’t address the problem quickly, some other parts of the mop might also be damaged.

A Simple Fix to a Broken Tineco Vacuum Mop Tube Hose

Considering how handy your “VacMop” is in the house, life can be extremely stressful when this gadget is not working. Whenever I find myself in such a dire situation, I’m not too worried because I know I can order a new hose from Amazon.

But that’s not enough because delivery from Amazon cannot be instant. So, what do I do?

Simple – I fix the Tineco vacuum mop myself. I pick up a simple tool like a pair of pliers, and use it to confirm that my vacuum mop hose is really broken. Then I do a little poking to position the tube properly.

Next, I find a piece of water hose 4 inches long. That is 10 centimeters. This is the size of water hose that fits into the position of the original Tineco hose.

I push in that hose as I pull at the tube, until I’m satisfied the two are linked together. It is important to confirm that the substitute tube hose is well positioned, and that it is well connected to the tube.

To ensure the water hose is not going to jerk out at the slightest pressure, I proceed to hammer it in decisively. The idea is to have its edge at the same level as that of the Tineco vacuum mop tube.

insert the hose to connect it with the broken tube.

Once the hose is properly in place, you can see its circular edge contrasting the outer surface that is the edge of the Tineco tube.

That’s how I get my Tineco vacuum mop back in working mode, without having to spend any money. I also don’t have to worry about waiting two-three days for a new tube hose to be delivered from Amazon.

hammer it in decisively.

Seeing me vacuuming, you wouldn’t suspect the mop is working with an improvised hose. After all, it suctions dirt and moisture as if the original hose is still in place.
