Depth tip: Enter the finished compacted depth you want, then use the compaction allowance to cover settlement. For pavers, keep bedding sand thin and put the real structure in the gravel base.
Ordering tip: Round bulk yards and tons upward separately for sand and gravel. Mixed loads can be difficult to split cleanly once dumped, especially on small sites.
