Slide the battery on the charger

How long does it take? Much of that comes down to battery size. In this case, you’re using a 2.0 Ah pack. It takes around forty minutes.
For most jobs, that’s pretty fast. You won’t have to wait all day. For small packs and quick turnaround jobs, that’s nice. Note when you started. That helps plan things out.

The bigger pack would require additional charging time. It takes about an hour for a 4.0 Ah battery. So you have another twenty minutes to wait.
With the smaller pack, that’s no big deal. It doesn’t take long and you don’t mind the delay. The downside: the bigger pack provides extended runtimes. This time, you sacrifice capacity for speed. It’ll be plenty, you reason.
And then you wait for the cycle to finish. For forty minutes, the red light shines steadily. Nothing happens. It’s kind of boring. And yet it’s essential.
While waiting, you might have worked on something else. Or you might of just waited it out.

That means that you’re waiting.
The light switches from a solid red to flashing red and lets you know the batteries is completely full. Take one final glance at the indicator. And all the lights are on. It’s good to go.
Don’t overcharge them. That is handled by the charger. Unplug it when it flashes. Easy peesy.
Slide the new battery back inside your tool. It’s a perfect fit into the spot. No muss, no fuss. You pull on the trigger and your tool springs back to life. Power flows instantly. You’re back at work in no time.

It is good enough for you.
It’s also very quick. The entire process takes less than an hour. This includes removing the pack, charging it, putting it back in the tool, and making sure the charge is at the right level. No messing around with settings either. Just plug and play.
