- Solid Green Lights on Panasonic Eneloop Charger
Like I said just now, there are four lights on Panasonic Eneloop chargers. Each cell has its own light that represents whatever’s going on with that particular cell.
Even though there are four lights, the funny thing is that these chargers only have one pattern. All four of the light indicators on Panasonic Eneloop chargers stay green.
When you put a cell in, its corresponding light will flash solid green. There won’t be any changes in the pattern, or other details to look out for. It’ll simply look like it does in this image:
If you haven’t guessed it by now, that solid green light is the charging indicator. All four of the lights above are solid green because all four cells are charging normally.
…And that’s it! That’s the only light pattern on a Panasonic Eneloop charger. But, if that’s really the case, then how does the charger let you know about other details?

- Light Turned Off on Panasonic Eneloope Charger
Eventually, users will notice the solid green light going away. Nothing will replace it, and the indicator will just stay off. So, what now?
Well, if the green light went away on its own, that means your cells are at 100%. It’s safe to remove them from the charger and store them away, or use them for whatever you want!
One important thing to note is that the green lights might not all turn off at the same time. If you don’t get what I mean, look at the photo below as an example.
Two of the lights on the Panasonic Eneloop charger are on, and the other two are off. Since their light is off, that means the two without a glowing indicator finished charging.
The cells that still have a solid green light under them aren’t there yet, though. However, you don’t need to keep the charged cells inside so the other ones can finish up.
Unlike a lot of other chargers similar to it, the Panasonic Eneloop allows users to charge single cells. Other cells would require them to charge in pairs, but that isn’t the case here.
That’s why there are four lights in total and each cell gets its own light. You don’t have to worry about putting them on charge at the same time or anything else.
Just stick a cell in there, and if the solid green light shows up, that means it’s charging just fine even without a pair!
Up there you can see how the cell on the right is charging on its own. Its indicator is on even though it doesn’t have a second cell with it.
Users don’t have to worry about slot positions, what will work, and what won’t. Just put your cells inside, and once the light goes away, that means they finished charging.
