Moisture matters: freshly treated boards often arrive well above service moisture content, so a load that seems fine from dry tables can become a payload problem.
Measure actual size: resurfaced, incised, or specialty treated lumber may not match nominal dimensions exactly. A small dimension change becomes large across a full bundle.
Safety note: Always verify the rated payload of trucks, trailers, racks, hoists, and lifting equipment before moving treated lumber. Wet pressure treated lumber can be much heavier than dry reference tables suggest, and preservative dust requires appropriate personal protective equipment when cutting.

There’s a particular point in deck construction where it stops being about linear footage of lumber and starts getting into your gross vehicle weight.
