After spending some time with the 20V system of Kress, I finally understood the meaning of light on the Kress 20V Battery charger.

The light pattern that you most commonly will observe, is a blinking green light that points that the battery is actively charging. When you put a 2.0Ah KressPack battery, the display panel on the base of the charger immediately flash with that green light. The blinking last until it fully charged, later the light becomes permanent green.
How to Read Kress 20V Battery Charger Lights

Occasionally the charger show blinking red light. That simply signals that there is a problem with the temperature of the battery.

If appears that blinking red light, the wisest action is simply leave the battery back to room temperature before trying to charge it. The charger will restart immediately when the temperature is in the right range.

If it show solid red light, this is a more serious problem. That’s mean the battery itself could be faulty and the charger cannot start the charging process. Or some battery cells in bad.
In this case, I would suggest you to use another battery with similar voltage range to jump start it. Sometimes this method could revive the battery.
