Both 20V MAX and 60V MAX charge is compatible with DeWalt FLEXVOLT batteries. This means you don’t have to buy a bunch of tools that require separate line of power.

Just make sure connection is secure before you power up, that means you can use your existing tools. This compatibility mean it works with tool you already own.
Charging Speed and Battery Capacity
How quickly your battery charge depends on what kind of charger unit you have plugged in. A quick charge battery like the DCB118 will get you charged up and going again in short order. You won’t have to guess if your unit is working because the blinking red LED signal indicate the battery are getting juice.

When battery is fully charged it lights up with a solid green light. Less than a second and you know if it’s charged.
How long does it take? That depends on how many amps your module put out. For example, charging a small 6.0 Ah battery will take about an hour. Not bad for that size battery.

The mid-range 9.0 Ah battery charge in roughly an hour and a half. This isn’t bad when you’re swapping batteries often like on a job site.

However, the big boys, the 12.0 Ah; will take one hundred twenty minutes. This means you have to be patient, more runtime on demanding power tools is the cost of this extra charge time.
While charging taking place it will show you what’s going on in environment. If there are hot or cold delays that can interrupts the charge, it notes those. They do occur frequently especially as temps goes down outside.

The screen also has a fault alert which can let you know if something isn’t right with battery health. It has a diagnostic feature so you don’t cause more damage to expensive equipment before it get worse. You should of checked the luxurius screen for error messages.
