Blend allowance: Repair work rarely stops at the exact patch edge. Use the feather width input when matching old orange peel or knockdown so the calculator adds a practical perimeter allowance.
Batch control: For spray texture, the calculated water range matters as much as total gallons. Keep each hopper load mixed to the same consistency so droplet size and knockdown timing stay repeatable.
Wear eye, skin, and respiratory protection when sanding, spraying, or scraping texture. Do not disturb older ceiling texture unless asbestos and lead hazards have been properly evaluated.
